In most cases, yes — if seen quickly. We ultrasonic-clean the board, remove corrosion, and repair affected chips at component level rather than declaring it dead or quoting a whole-board swap. The longer it stays powered or untreated, the more corrosion spreads.
No to both. Rice does nothing for internal corrosion, and charging a wet MacBook pushes current through liquid bridges and causes more damage. Power it off, unplug it, and bring it in (or book a pickup).
Usually not — our chip-level approach preserves the storage, and on older MacBooks the SSD is removable so we can recover data separately if the board needs major work. A backup beforehand is always recommended.
