Warranty Policy

Every iTweak repair carries our written warranty. Standard cover is 6 months on parts and labour. Some categories carry longer warranties — see the table below.

Warranty by repair type

  • iPhone battery, charging port, back glass, speakers, microphone: 6 months, parts + labour.
  • iPhone OEM display: 1 year, parts + labour.
  • iPhone Standard Display, Front Glass-only: 6 months.
  • iPhone motherboard, water-damage recovery: 6 months on parts replaced; labour-only on diagnostic-led repairs.
  • iPad battery: 6 months.
  • iPad screen (OEM assembly): 1 year.
  • MacBook battery, screen, keyboard, trackpad, SSD: 1 year, parts + labour.
  • MacBook board-level / liquid-damage repair: 1 year on parts replaced.
  • Apple Watch screen, battery, back glass: 1 year, parts + labour.
  • iMac display, board-level, SSD upgrade, GPU repair: 1 year.

What the warranty covers

  • Failure of the replaced part to perform its intended function (battery drain, screen touch dead, port stops accepting cables).
  • Labour for the re-repair if a covered failure occurs.
  • Apple-spec replacement part fitted under the original repair invoice.

What the warranty does not cover

  • Physical damage caused after our repair (drops, impact, pressure cracks).
  • Liquid damage caused after our repair (we restore splash/shower resistance where possible; the factory IP rating no longer applies after any third-party repair).
  • Damage from unauthorised modification or repair by another party after our work.
  • Aftermarket cases or accessories that cause damage (over-tight cases, magnetic mounts on M-series devices, etc.).
  • iOS / iPadOS / macOS issues that are not related to the repaired part.

Diagnostic guarantee

If you book us for a specific repair and our diagnostic finds the issue is something else, we tell you upfront and quote the actual fault. If you decide not to proceed, a flat ₹500 diagnostic fee applies. If you do proceed, the diagnostic is free — included in the repair price.

If the original issue you booked us for turns out not to be the part we replaced, and the symptom persists after our repair, we refund the part cost in full (labour at our discretion based on the diagnostic outcome).

How to claim warranty

Call us on 080 4710 3303 or WhatsApp with your original invoice number and a brief description of the issue. We arrange free FedEx pickup (if outside Bangalore/Mumbai/Chennai) or doorstep collection. Warranty re-repairs are typically completed within 5 working days door-to-door.

Apple warranty + AppleCare disclosure

iTweak is an independent Apple device repair service — not affiliated with Apple Inc. or any Apple Authorised Service Provider. Apple's standard 1-year warranty and AppleCare+ coverage are voided for hardware claims on a device once any third-party repair (including ours) has been performed. If your device is still under Apple coverage, we recommend consulting an AASP first; we'll tell you upfront if you'd be better served by Apple.
