Common physical damage we repair
Six types of physical damage that affect Bluetooth speakers after drops, impacts, or mishandling. Diagnostic-first approach ensures we fix everything damaged in one go.
Cracked or broken housing
Drop impact cracked the plastic/metal enclosure or separated snap-fit joints. Housing damage often looks cosmetic but can affect water resistance and internal component alignment.
Broken or stuck buttons
Volume/power/pairing buttons don't click or are jammed. The rubber button membrane or the tactile switch on the board has failed — common after a drop onto the button side.
Damaged speaker grille
Metal or fabric grille dented, punctured, or detached. Grille damage is cosmetic but exposed drivers are vulnerable to dust, moisture, and further impact.
Rattling or loose components inside
Speaker sounds normal but something rattles when moved. Internal brackets, battery, or driver magnets have come loose — can cause intermittent failures if not fixed.
Charging port broken off the board
Port physically ripped off after a drop while plugged in. The port's solder pads on the board may be damaged — requires board-level repair, not just port replacement.
Screen/display cracked (on models with screens)
Some Bluetooth speakers (JBL PartyBox, Sony GTK series) have LCD screens. Drop damage cracks the display — requires screen replacement.

1Diagnostic
We inspect external damage (housing, buttons, grille) and open the speaker to check internal components (loose drivers, disconnected wires, torn ports). Full damage report with photos for your approval.
2Source replacement parts
OEM housings, button membranes, grilles, and internal components ordered for your specific speaker model. We only fit parts that match factory spec — no generic substitutes.
3Transfer internals to new housing
If the housing is cracked, we transfer the battery, board, drivers, and passive radiators to a new enclosure. All adhesive seals and brackets are replaced to factory alignment.
4Button and grille replacement
Broken buttons replaced with OEM tactile switches or membranes. Damaged grilles swapped. Board-level repair for torn ports or broken connectors (micro-soldering if needed).
5Reseal and full functional test
Housing resealed with factory adhesive. Full test: buttons, Bluetooth pairing, playback, charging, water resistance (if IP-rated). Only leaves the bench when every function is restored.

Button and grille repairs are typically 1–2 hours. Housing replacement takes 3–4 hours (full disassembly and reassembly). Board-level repair (micro-soldering) adds 2–3 hours. 30 minutes on-site for doorstep in Bangalore + free pickup nationwide for simple repairs. Complex repairs may need the lab.
Yes. We replace cracked or broken housings with OEM enclosures matched to your speaker's model and color. All internal components (battery, board, drivers) are transferred to the new housing with factory adhesive and alignment. The speaker looks and performs like new after housing replacement.
Yes. Buttons that don't click or feel mushy have either a broken rubber membrane or a failed tactile switch on the board. We replace the membrane or micro-solder a new switch. Both are fixable — buttons will click correctly after repair.
If your speaker is still under manufacturer warranty, a third-party repair (including ours) voids it. However, most physical damage (drops, impacts) already voids brand warranties. iTweak provides our own 6-month warranty on all repaired components and labour.
Partially. We replace all adhesive seals and gaskets to restore the enclosure seal. However, IP ratings (IP67, IPX7) degrade after any repair — factory-sealed speakers are tested and certified, third-party repairs can't replicate that certification. Treat the speaker as splash-resistant rather than fully waterproof after housing replacement.
Yes, with limitations. In Bangalore we arrive within 30 minutes for diagnostic and simple repairs (button, grille). Housing replacement and board-level repairs require the lab (full disassembly, alignment, curing time). Anywhere else in India, we offer free insured pickup and return within 24–48 hours.
Every physical damage repair comes with a 6-month warranty covering all replaced parts and labour. If a repaired component fails within those 6 months due to our work, we repair or replace it free of charge. New impact damage after our repair is not covered.
