How to know it's a connectivity fault

Won't pair with any device
Pairing mode activates (LED blinks) but no phones/laptops see the speaker. The Bluetooth module or antenna has failed — common after a drop.
Pairing works but audio stutters/drops
Device pairs successfully but playback is choppy or cuts out every few seconds. Weak Bluetooth signal from damaged antenna or failing module.
Range dropped to a few feet
Used to work across rooms, now disconnects if phone is more than 2–3 feet away. Antenna damage or Bluetooth IC degradation.

How connectivity repair works
Five steps from diagnostic to handover. Most Bluetooth faults are antenna or module damage (fixable in 1–2 hours); some require IC-level repair (micro-soldering).
1Diagnostic
We test pairing with multiple devices (phones, laptops, tablets). Signal-strength measurement, pairing-attempt log, firmware version check. This step identifies if it's antenna, module, or IC.
2Open and inspect the board
Enclosure opened, board exposed. We visually inspect the Bluetooth antenna (usually a spring or flex cable) and the module. Loose antenna connections are common after drops.
3Antenna repair or replacement
If the antenna is damaged or disconnected, we reseat or replace it. Spring antennas are soldered; flex antennas use connectors. Range improves immediately once antenna is fixed.
4Module or IC replacement (if needed)
If the Bluetooth module itself has failed, we desolder and replace it. IC-level faults (Bluetooth chip on the main board) require micro-soldering under a microscope — board-level work.
5Firmware reflash and pair test
Housing resealed, firmware reflashed to restore MAC address and pairing list. We pair with 3+ devices and run a 10-minute range test before handover. Only leaves the bench when pairing is flawless.

Choppy audio with successful pairing usually means weak Bluetooth signal — damaged antenna, failing Bluetooth module, or interference from other components. Sometimes it's also a firmware issue. Diagnostic will tell us exactly which component needs repair.
Yes. Range problems are almost always antenna damage or a failing Bluetooth module. The antenna in most Bluetooth speakers is a spring coil or flex cable — easy to damage in a drop. We replace or reseat the antenna and range returns to factory spec (typically 30+ feet line-of-sight).
If your speaker is still under manufacturer warranty, a third-party Bluetooth repair (including ours) voids it. iTweak instead provides our own 6-month warranty on the repair and labour. For speakers still under brand warranty, we recommend the brand's service centre; for everything else, our repairs deliver factory performance at a fraction of brand service cost.
Yes — that's usually a firmware or pairing-list corruption issue. Sometimes the Bluetooth module's MAC address has been lost (common after a failed firmware update). We can reflash the firmware and restore the MAC, or replace the module if it's hardware-level.
Yes. In Bangalore we arrive at your home or office within 30 minutes of booking. For antenna and module repairs we complete the job on-site. IC-level repairs (Bluetooth chip micro-soldering) may need to go to the lab. Anywhere else in India, we offer free insured pickup and return within 24–48 hours.
Every connectivity repair comes with a 6-month warranty covering both the part and the labour. If the antenna, module, or IC fails to perform within those 6 months, we repair or replace it free of charge. We also offer a diagnostic guarantee: if the issue you booked us for wasn't actually the Bluetooth circuit, you don't pay for the repair attempt.
