Almost never. We try DFU restore (data-preserving) first. If that fails and a full restore is needed, we'll tell you upfront so you can decide. We always recommend a backup before any work — iCloud or Finder/iTunes.
Usually 30–90 minutes on the bench, depending on how long the iOS restore takes. Walk-in customers wait; FedEx customers get it back the next day.
We tell you honestly and quote the hardware repair. You can decline and we'll send the iPhone back. Free diagnostic for software, ₹500 if hardware diagnostic is needed but you don't proceed.
