How to know it's this issue
These are the symptoms that point at the fault — most match more than one. Match against your iPhone, then book us for a diagnostic.
Completely dead — no display at all
Could be a fully drained battery (commonest), a failed charging IC, or a chip-level fault. Diagnostic sequence: battery → charging → board.
Stuck on Apple logo (boot loop)
Software corruption or NAND/CPU-level fault. We try a DFU-restore first; if that fails, board-level diagnostic.
Shows empty-battery icon that won't go away
Battery deeply discharged below protection cutoff. Slow trickle charge + battery swap typically resolves it.
Heats up but won't power on
Internal short, often on the charging or PMIC chip. Board-level micro-soldering work.
Powers on briefly, then dies
Battery can't sustain load — voltage collapse on power-up. Battery swap usually fixes it.
After a drop or water exposure
Physical or liquid damage. Recovery rate depends on how quickly the device was powered off after the event.
