How to know it's this

Won't turn on after water
Liquid has shorted a rail or IC — the faster it's powered off and cleaned, the higher the recovery rate.
Condensation or fog under the glass
Moisture has breached the seal and is sitting on the display and board — needs opening and drying properly.
Screen lines or touch issues after water
Liquid reached the display connector — sometimes a clean, sometimes a panel swap.
Muffled speaker / mic
Water trapped in the speaker port or a corroded audio component.
Won't charge after getting wet
Corroded charging coil or power IC — a common post-water fault, usually repairable.

Water resistance degrades with age, and any crack or prior repair breaks the seal — so sweat, pool or sea water gets in and corrodes the tiny board. iTweak's board team ultrasonic-cleans, removes corrosion, and repairs affected components, then reseals with Apple-spec adhesive. Most watches are recovered; if we can't, you don't pay for the repair attempt.

No — rice does nothing for internal corrosion. Power it off, don't charge it, and get it to us (or book a pickup) as soon as possible.
