Boot takes a minute or more
A mechanical or Fusion hard drive struggling — an SSD upgrade typically cuts boot to under 10 seconds.
Constant spinning beachball
The drive can't keep up with macOS. Common on Fusion-drive iMacs as the small SSD cache wears.
'Disk not readable' or SMART errors
The drive is failing — back up now and replace before total loss.

2Free FedEx pickup or walk-in
Free insured pickup pan-India in iMac-grade packaging (custom-fit foam, ~30kg shipping weight). Or walk into Marathahalli (Bangalore) or Andheri (Mumbai). Typical round-trip: 6–8 working days from anywhere in India (iMacs are slower than smaller devices to ship).
3Diagnose and quote
Apple Diagnostics + bench-level testing (multimeter, microscope, thermal scan). We confirm the actual fault — GPU vs board vs SSD vs PSU — before quoting. Written quote, itemised, approve or decline.
4Component-level repair
Display panel safely separated using suction + heated mat (no heat gun). Component-level board work — chip replacement, capacitor reflow, BGA rework where needed. SSD swap where requested. Reassembled with Apple-spec adhesive.
5Test, calibrate, return
Apple Diagnostics post-repair, thermal calibration, display calibration. 1-year warranty paperwork. Return courier or walk-out.

On most pre-2020 iMacs, yes — the storage is socketed or solderable and we can fit faster, larger NVMe / SSD storage. On M-series iMacs (M1, M3, M4) the storage is bonded to the logic board and not upgradeable; we confirm your exact model before any work.
No — data migration is included. We clone your existing drive to the new SSD where it's healthy, or recover what we can if it's already failing. A backup beforehand is always recommended.
Fusion drives pair a small SSD with a large hard drive. When the hard-drive half fails, we can split the pair and run a pure SSD instead — faster and more reliable.
