How to know it's this
These are the symptoms that point at iMac display / panel repair. Match them against your iMac, then book a free diagnosis — we confirm the actual fault before quoting.
Dead or stuck pixels
Black or coloured dots that don't change with the image. Clusters justify a panel replacement; one or two may be tolerable.
Image retention or burn-in
Ghosting of previous windows after long static use — end-of-life panel wear on older iMacs.
Dark patches or uneven backlight
Dim zones or shadowing across the screen, usually a backlight or panel-bond fault.
Vertical lines or flicker
Display-cable or panel fault. Lines that shift when you tilt the screen point to the cable; fixed lines point to the panel.
Cracked or impacted glass
Even hairline cracks break the moisture seal — replace before dust and humidity reach the panel and logic board.

iMac is an all-in-one — display, logic board, SSD, RAM, PSU, and chassis are bonded together in a way that intimidates most repair shops. Apple Authorised Service Providers will quote a full logic-board swap for any board-level issue (cost: ₹40,000+). iTweak does component-level work: replace the failed GPU chip (not the whole board), upgrade the SSD without breaking the display bond, replace the fan + thermal paste without damaging the 5K display ribbon. 2Free FedEx pickup or walk-in
Free insured pickup pan-India in iMac-grade packaging (custom-fit foam, ~30kg shipping weight). Or walk into Marathahalli (Bangalore). Typical round-trip: 6–8 working days from anywhere in India (iMacs are slower than smaller devices to ship).
3Diagnose and quote
Apple Diagnostics + bench-level testing (multimeter, microscope, thermal scan). We confirm the actual fault — GPU vs board vs SSD vs PSU — before quoting. Written quote, itemised, approve or decline.
4Component-level repair
Display panel safely separated using suction + heated mat (no heat gun). Component-level board work — chip replacement, capacitor reflow, BGA rework where needed. SSD swap where requested. Reassembled with Apple-spec adhesive.
5Test, calibrate, return
Apple Diagnostics post-repair, thermal calibration, display calibration. 1-year warranty paperwork. Return courier or walk-out.
